please give to the Qld Flood Appeal
Queensland Flood Appeals...
We have all heard the devastating effects the floods are having in Queensland, so much heartbreak for families losing or missing loved ones, losing everything they own, it is just unfathomable...
I just want to post on both Kraft It Up and White With 1 a couple of links for some sites that Sherry Mendozza has created to help fundraise for the families of Queensland and also a couple of links for monetary donations.
Firstly is the Rising Flood Appeal
"I am asking that you scrap a page that will be appropriate to go into a memory album for a family so that all they need to do is add photos. Hopefully they will have friends and family who can supply them with photos as no doubt they will all be lost too.
If you aren't a scrapbooker, don't worry you won't miss out, you could make a card for a family or a small gift that could also be passed on. I'm sure anything you make will be greatly appreciated by the flood victims."
Please send them too:
Rising Waters

***PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH***.
This is for memory gifts ONLY.

Day 7 of January 2011
This is a canvas I completed for a challenge at Camp Mojo and I have it on my scrap room wall - means so much to me for this year.I am so excited about the New Year!!
I am excited on many levels and I know this is going to be a fabulous Year for my family.
After a lovely stressless Christmas and some time away with friends where I recharged my batteries after an eventful and frightening 5 months i have now emerged ready to face the adventures life has in store for me in 2011. With a much closer family support, a fantastic circle of supportive friends and colleagues I am ready to sail the seas again. I am enjoying art journalling and have done a huge amount of scrapping already this year! I have a few layouts being published this year and lots of travel on the horizon also.
