STUCK SKETCHES CHALLENGE 15TH JAN

Hi everyone Here is the sketch for Jan 15th for Stuck Sketches! I had so much fun scrapping this sketch ! I used October Afternoon Cakewalk Sugar Stix,Technique Tuesday Capture stamp, yellow spot and camera washi tape, blak pen, TA Jazz Blue glimmermist

CURRENTLY CREATIVE !!

HERE •Your craft/creative area. •What you are currently working on. •What you current craft you have made. •Your creativity on your desk. OK This is what I am currently working on: This frame was originally a cream colour, and I gave it two coats of aqua to funk it up a bit, placed some scrapbooking chevron black and white paper as a background, then hand cut a yellow chevron heart - I am going to put a quote or a "word" not sure yet. I have a latte coloured kitchen with a red splash back, and lots of red accessories! I needed to put a little oomph into it - while my beautiful friend Ebony van der Starre was staying last weekend, she suggested I put splashes of aqua and yellow ! I had purchased some yellow chevron cereal bowls while I was staying with her a few weeks ago, thanks honey I am loving jazzing up my kitchen!! Creativity on my desk : I have a few DT commitments to cover tonight, so the first one is a blog post for sunnycoastkids.blogspot.com for kids craft! Take some bright paints, an egg carton : and you will have to wait to see what this will be!!!!

SOME SCRAPPING USING APIECEOFCAKEDESIGNS DECEMBER KIT

I have been scrapping up a storm! The December APieceofCakeDesigns Kit was so gorgeous! Go and check out Raquels hand made Flair Buttons here This layout I completed whilst at Eb's! I am happy with it - so bright and funky! I used one of Eb's techniques : Dylusions ink sploshed onto the paper and splashed around as a background then a few bits of pink paint and stamping and some washi tape! Thanks for visiting !

Here is my layout for WWI! The criteria is White with aqua and red! I took these photos at dusk on Stingray Bay in Warrnambool while I was visiting my beautiful friend Ebony Van Der Starre - we scrapped together it was so nice!

SAYING FAREWELL TO 2012

For me 2012 has been a year of firsts, adventure, challenges, learning, and so much more : I am grateful for all that I have been able to achieve this year, and look forward to seeing what the New Year has in store for our family. Mia journeys into Year 6 the last year of primary school - it still feels like yesterday that she was in Prep. Ella going into Year 5 with so much to experience. Stay safe tonight and I wish you the most joyful New 2013.xx xxxxxx

I used Bella Blvd Birthday boy paper - it is orange chevron, but stripes never photograph very well !
I also used Bella Blvd alphas from Thankful range and the funky shaped chippies are from bisous Zoo (2008!)

LOVING :  The fact that my darling Sister has moved to my town after travelling around Australia with her Husband - I feel blessed they have chosen to live 5 minutes away from our family.

READING :  Dawn French : Dear Fatty - Oh she is such a funny lady, this book has had me in stitches!


WATCHING :  X-Factor with my girls, we are totally enjoying it!

ANTICIPATING :  January CHA new paper crafting goodies to be released!

LISTENING TO : The peace and quiet in my house this Saturday afternoon!

PLANNING :  My next trip to America
WORKING ON : 4 different creative projects : one painting, 3 DT commitments crafty goodies.

WISHING :   On a shooting star for a beautiful young girl called Emma who needs a miracle.
