Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position, or prestige.
It is discovered in goodness, humility, service, and character.

LOOK AT THESE CUTE FRIDGE MAGNETS!

I made these with Shelley G (mmmmwhaaa) a couple of weeks ago, and they made a great present for my mother in law for her fridge - updated pics of her granddaughters that she can look at daily!
I cannot wait until Friday, as I am getting together with Shelley and Justine to create a mini album made from discs!!

Mia and Ella received their end of Semester Reports - and wow they were brilliant!
Feels good to know we did the right thing choosing to send them to this school!
Their dad gave them $10 each for a fab report!!

"quote of the day"
(today 28/7/08)
Ella said "Mum, I don't need to go back to school again, I know everything well almost everything now, as Mrs Murnane has taught it to me!"
That is all from me today - home made chicken pie with vegies for dinner and then over to Bons Scraps for the cybercrop!

Love smiles

SLICE OF LIFE COMP AT SCRAPBOOK SHELF

CHALLENGE 2

Let's say there's a story you want to tell and feel really passionate about telling and you realise that you do not have a photo to go with that story. Don't discard that story just because you don't have a photo to go along with it. Its all about capturing your life through words, its about creating art with a few choice embellishments.

Criteria

1. Create a layout with No Pictures

2. Title must be One Word or Two Words only. If using two words create emphasis on one of the words

3. Journalling must be in a List Format

Here is my layout for this Challenge -
I scrapped about Mia's fragile start to her life!

TAKE AT LOOK AT THIS CAKE IN A MUG

OOH I am going to try this when the girls are at school - how decadent!
Jul 15 2008How To Make A Chocolate Cake In 5 Minutes
Today’s feature is a fun tip from Dizzy-Dee with Chocolate Cake In 5 Minutes!

Not sure if this is a good thing to know how to do since it’s soooo easy to whip up (and then gobble up) a sweet little cake whenever you crave some chocolate ;).

Ingredients:

4 Tablespoons cake flour
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil
1 Mug

You mix the ingredients in a mug, pop in a microwave and zap it for about 3 minutes and voila! Cute little chocolate cake ready to enjoy. Please visit the site for the full details and view the pictures detailing the process, fun idea!
